Andrew Craig and Colin Adamson have reviewed the evidence thus far about the role and effectiveness of Foundation Trust Governors. The result – "Are Foundation Trust Governors really Governing?" appears in September’s issue of Governance Matters. MAC Partnership is grateful to the editor, Stuart Emslie, for permission to post this material on the MAC website in order to bring it to a wider audience. Governance Matters is a bi-monthly publication for board members and senior managers concerned with healthcare governance issues. It is available from www.witherbys.com
